Another entry to the series. Some customers make purchase of new Cisco VoIP phones and could not get the phones working, and one of the problems is incompatible firmware.

All Cisco phones come with SCCP firmware by default. Make sure to check with your hosted VoIP provider or network engineer to confirm which type of firmware is required.

Some VoIP platforms either onsite or hosted require phones to run SIP firmware. Myriad Supply can provide dealer refurbished Cisco phones with SIP firmware pre-loaded.
