Myriad Supply Is One of Inc. Magazine’s Best Workplaces 2017

New York, NY (June 8, 2017)—Myriad Supply, your trusted technology experts, has been named one of Inc. Magazine’s Best Workplaces for 2017, the publication’s second annual ranking in the fast-growing private company sector.

Displayed in Inc. Magazine’s June 2017 issue, and as part of a prominent Inc. com feature, the list is the result of a wide-ranging and comprehensive measurement of private American companies that have created exceptional workplaces through vibrant cultures, deep employee engagement, and stellar benefits. Out of thousands of applicants, Inc. singled out just over 200 winning companies. Built in conjunction with employee engagement and work culture experts Quantum Workplace of Omaha, Nebraska, Inc.’s Best Workplaces list demonstrates how innovative companies can truly raise the bar in hiring and retaining the best talent.

In order to attract and retain the best talent, Myriad has developed programs to consistently deliver challenging, meaningful and rewarding career paths for every position. In recent months, Myriad has implemented town hall meetings to discuss critical and controversial issues, and rolled out a company-wide unlimited vacation day initiative.

In addition to these programs, Myriad ensures employees have the right environment to be productive throughout their workday. This includes a meditation room, healthy snacks, state-of-the-art technology, and recognition for individual success. Myriad also practices an open-book style of management, with all financials presented quarterly in an all-hands meeting, and quarterly profit share bonuses paid out to every employee.

“My goal is to create a culture that attracts, supports and rewards top performers,” said Andrew Fisher, Founder and CEO, Myriad Supply. “ Our priority is investing in the development of our employees and providing opportunities that are uniquely available at Myriad. Culture is so much more than cold brew and scooters, but we have those too. We are honored to receive this prestigious recognition.”

The 2017 Inc. Best Workplaces Awards assessed applicants on the basis of benefits offered and employees’ responses to a unique, 30-question survey. Responses were evaluated by the research team at Quantum Workplace. For its results to qualify, each company had to achieve a statistically significant response rate based on employee count. Survey scores also take into account employer size to help level the playing field between small and large businesses.

While researching the entries, Inc. and Quantum saw distinct themes develop:

  • Strong company cultures breed stunning individual and team performance.
  • When employees feel valued by their organization, they are far more likely to be engaged. This single factor proved to be one of the largest drivers of employee engagement.
  • Having a clear purpose and open communication with leadership is valued above good pay and perks.
